Medi Honey contains the active ingredient Leptospermum Honey, This honey have unique qualities which make it perfect for the therapy of chronic and acute wounds and burns. Effective on "hard to heal" wounds and burns. Also helps to debride (remove all dead, contaminated or foreign material) and keeps wound beds clean of necrotic (dead) tissue. Medi Honey first aid dressings will work in the existance of wound fluid, blood and tissue, therefore promoting an ideal healing environment. Use Medihoney dressings for the treatment of wounds like Diabetic foot ulcers, venouse stasis leg ulcers, arterial leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, 1st & 2nd degree burns, donor sites and traumatic and surgical wounds.
