Algicell Ag Silver Antimicrobial wound dressing gives powerful antimicrobial protection with greater absorption. Silver dressings help lessen the chance of infection in moderately to heavy exuding wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, donor sites and surgical wounds. Algicel Silver dressings have a higher absorption to help reduce the chance of tissue maceration while allowing for increased time between dressing changes. Algicell Ag gives 1.4% silver and is a controlled and sustained discharge of antimicrobial silver that delivers a durable 7 day effect with the dressing, helping to reduce bioburden and provides an effective barrier to pathogens. Algicell Ag doesn't leave any silver coated nylon tread residue on the wound when removing the dressing. 2" x 2" dressing, sold per individual dressing.
